Day: 1
You will be transferred from your hotel to Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe International airport. Or you may arrive at the airport to connect directly to the charter flight that will fly you to Queen Elizabeth NP. You will fly over crater lakes, tea estates, plantation and the rift valley. You will arrive to be transferred to Mweya in time for the launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. Here you will be able to see plenty of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and many more. Inclusive are variety of bird species that surround these animals at the banks. The park is blessed with over 600 birds’ resident and migrants making it a birders paradise. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day: 2
Go for an early morning game drive after a cup of coffee to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hide out. Watch out for game like Lions, elephants, spotted Hyenas, leopards, bushbucks, side-stripped jackal and many more. Primates like L’Hoest’s monkey, black and white colobus, vervet and many more. Retire from the game drive for breakfast at the lodge before you transfer to the airstrip to catch the charter flight. Alternatively you may go to Kyambura gorge to track chimpanzees before you embark on the flight back to Kampala. You will then proceed to the airstrip for your charter flight to Kampala or Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice either in Kampala or Entebbe.
