3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tracking/Trekking

Day1:
After breakfast you will be picked from your Hotel to transfer to the airstrip in Kajansi or Entebbe International airport to be flown to Bwindi Impenetrable NP. The flight will take you about 2 hours. If you’ve used a big plane you will land in Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth to be driven to Bwindi. But if you land at Kayonza airstrip you will drive for 20km to reach Bwindi. The flight offers you beautiful views of terraced hills of Kigezi usually referred to as Switzerland of Africa with picturesque sceneries, Mafuga forest for viewing the Virunga Mountains of Congo and Rwanda. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Forest Camp- executive and luxury/Volcanoes gorilla safari lodge or Kitandara Tented Camp for mid rate.

Day2:
Have breakfast to go for briefing at the park headquarters, and then later on go to the forest to track these humble giants. Gorilla tracking takes about 1 hour to 8 or more depending on the movement of these humble giants. The experience of seeing these humble giants, play, feed, and interact erases the hardships that one goes through trying to find the gorillas. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Forest Camp- executive and luxury/Volcanoes gorilla safari lodge or Kitandara Tented Camp for mid rate.

Day3:
Have breakfast to transfer to the airstrip of Kayonza or Ishasha where you will be picked by the charter flight to transfer you to Kampala / Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana/ Serena Hotel / Sheraton Hotel Kampala.

In order for you to enjoy most of our birding safaris you are supposed to arrive early in the morning at Entebbe international airport. This is where you shall meet with our guide for a small briefing.
