DAY 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport.
You'll be met arrival at Entebbe airport, and transferred to Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. Incase you arrive early; you will have an afternoon excursion to the famous tombs of the Kabaka kings, Uganda museum, Bahai temple and Namugongo Martyrs shrine where 22 Christian missionaries were killed. DAY 2: Travel to Kibale National Park.
Depart Kampala after breakfast for a captivating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. You will have an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge.
DAY 3: Chimpanzee Tracking and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake up for an early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale Forest National Park is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps; it is a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Safari Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation)
DAY 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Have an early morning game drive in the park, where you will have a chance to see all the big game in abundance. The park is famous for having elephants and kobs, expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. DAY 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Drive through what is perhaps East Africa's most amazing scenery, the highland rain forest in which the mountain gorillas live. You will visit the bat cave close to Maramagambo forest. This is the largest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. You will spend the afternoon on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park. DAY 6: Gorilla tracking.
After breakfast, get ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 a.m with a briefing from the UWA staff. Make sure you carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots and other items needed for the trek. The guides will lead you inside the jungle and see the shy Primates. Take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, which is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are only 650 left in the world left! DAY 7: Depart for Kampala.
Return to Kampala, then go to Entebbe, with lunch enroute. Have a stop over at Equator before your evening departures home. End of tour.
